On Monday, 01 June 09, Airbus A330 with flight no. AF 447 crashed above the Atlantic on its flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris for reasons still requiring clarification. MAN Turbo employees Alain Hermann and Adrian Soboll were also on board of this machine and are regarded to be missing since this crash. We are mourning for our employees and colleagues. Our deepest sympathy is with their families. Both employees were great supports for MAN Turbo and always made every effort for the interests of the company. They leave a large gap as colleagues as well as experts. Mr. Alain Hermann, born 20 Nov 1953, was employed with MAN Turbo France SAS since 01 Apr 2001 as a field service engineer. Mr. Adrian Soboll, born 24 Sep 1967, was employed with MAN Turbo AG as a service engineer in the department "Engineering Gas Turbines Oberhausen" since 01 Nov 2006.
With deep sympathy
Management, works council and colleagues of the MAN Group
