In order to make large-scale experiments reality, we develop plants in sizes never previously constructed. Special solutions are the rule here, and they require not only vast technical expertise but also creativity and a willingness to take a certain amount of risk.

As a partner of science we are proud to have contributed to the success of such outstanding projects as the CERN particle accelerator ring in Geneva, the Munich II research reactor, the ESO Very Large Telescope, and the WENDELSTEIN 7-X fusion experiment currently under construction by the Max Planck Institute for plasma physics, and an ultra high-vacuum main spectrometer for the Karlsruhe Research Institute.
