12.05.2003 - At the end of the 1980s, MAN Turbo won an order to supply an air compressor for an air separation plant in the UK. With a daily capacity of 1,700 tonnes, the Scunthorpe plant remains one of the world’s major air separation facilities to this day.

Axial compressors are ideal for applications in which very large volume flows have to be compressed at a relatively low pressure ratio.
